Introduction

The Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN) is a non-profit organization established in 1990 AD (BS 2047) by the founding president, Shyam Sundar Lal Kakshapati, along with nine members in Kathmandu. REBAN supports the growth of the hospitality industry by advocating for favorable policies, providing resources and training, and fostering collaboration and innovation.

Mission

REBAN plays a crucial role in enhancing professionalism and sustainability in the restaurant and bar industry. It advocates for policies at both local and national levels, provides training and workshops to meet international standards, and works toward recognizing REBAN as an industry under Nepal Tourism Board.

Objectives

REBAN aims to expand nationwide, promoting and bolstering the restaurant and bar industry across Nepal's seven provinces and 77 districts.

Ongoing and Future Projects

REBAN organizes training programs, staff health checks, and orientation sessions on food safety, tax regulations, and labor laws. It also plans to open branches in Biratnagar, Butwal, Surkhet, and Dharan.
